Prof. Itay Chowers
About
Prof. Itay Chowers is the Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Hadassah Medical Center, The Jonas Friedenwald Chair in Ophthalmological Research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prof. Chowers is a world reknowned Retina specialist, clinician-researcher, Principal investigator at the research lab and an Ophthalmic clinical research center. Together with Prof. Eyal Banin, Prof. Chowers established and heads the center for translational ophthalmology since 2016.
