Lab description

The Hadassah Liver Institute specializes in the study of the molecular and immunological aspects behind the pathogenesis of liver diseases, identifying newly selected checkpoints for potential therapeutic outcomes. The institute occupies a whole floor in the ER building, with several outpatients’ clinics, day care hospitalization, clinical coordinator offices and a spacious big research laboratory of about 20x40m2

The institute has established a strong reputation for research excellence in the fields of liver fibrosis and immune checkpoint in NK cells. The existence of a unique set of patient clinical data and liver tissue bio bank adds significant value to the institute’s work.
